Al-Hayat hospital is a full service health care facility center serving the people of Lebanon and the middle east located in Beirut 4 km away from Beirut international airport. It is composed of 140 beds, covering a vast array of medical and paramedical specialities.
The hospital is very well equiped to take care of all kinds of patients and all acute emergencies.
The hospital treats in excess of 10.000 patients a year and offers comprehensive medico-surgical services, maternal (obstetrics and gynaecology with IVF and ICSI center), child health services including high risk neonated and prematures in an ultimately equiped ICN, cardiac care (coronary + angioplasty), cancer services and an infection disease program.
The hospital serves as a regional center for renal care offering inpatient treatment and dialysis services in addition to the newest generation lithotripsy machines.
The radiology service offers the latest in imaging modalitiues including (CT-scan, ultrasounds, osteodensitometry, mammography, coronarography and dental scan).
The laboratory and blood bank department (whole blood, fresh frozen plasma and platelets) offer a full array of laboratory imvestigations (Hematology, Biochemistry, Serology, Hormonal profile and Bacteriology).
One of the most significant changes in the hospital involved the emergency department, which underwent an expansion that, double the number of treatment rooms.

Al-Hayat Benevolent Social League, established in 1993 of all Lebanese sects.

Through two dispensaries: a) medical, b) dental helping patients in treatment and offering medication free of charge.
Educational: offering the young generation a noble medico social specialty through the institution of nurses attaining B.T. and/or T.S. diploma
Socio –cultural where almost monthly lectures, sessions, evening poetry, music and arts take place
Finance: Al-Hayat Benevolent League’s finance is through memberships and two yearly events, breakfast and dinner in addition to a yearly booklet whereby companies dealing with AL-Hayat Hospital advertise their products. All the money collected is for the support of the institution of nurses and the league.
:The I.V. F Center
In October 1997, a new facility was inaugurated at Al-Hayat hospital, the fertility center.
It comprises all the reproductive measures needed to help infertile couples to conceive.
In addition to controlled ovarian stimulation, the center offers more sophisticated techniques in assisted reproduction such as sperm wash and intra-uterine insemination (IUI), regular in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Genetic diagnosis of the embryo and gender selection is also performed in our unit. Moreover, amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling are successfully accomplished in our syste
